Kellers Arm Sock

The announcers today said that Keller wears the arm sock because of his tatto's on his arm. Does anyone know what they are? Also is covering them up a personal choice or the Schools/Teams requirment?

they are tattoos for a friend that was killed in high school, and for a team mate of his at ASU that was paralized in a car wreck. when he came to NU he wanted to start over and not be flashy, so he decided to wear the arm sock

I think it's a wise decision on his part.

He came in, admittedly with somewhat of a rep. Go back to this board from last August. "Flashy." "Partier." And in some instances, some less kind words.

He was willing to do serious grunt work to prepare and help this team. Won lots of respect and admiration from teammates. That's huge.

Learning the real story about the sock made me respect him even more.

He will get a hold of things I think. I just think he tried to do to much a couple of times yesterday, just because from what I see is that he believes he is THE player that can really make things happen. Its nice to see our QB be able to throw from hash to opposite sideline on a freakin rope.
