Great defensive call

Anyone want to give Coz credit for "putting our players in place" to make the interception in the endzone (Bowman) we had that double covered and we pressured the QB with a perfectly called blitz (by the coach)

Or on the last play when Grixby was right where he supposed to be...or hell the last four plays when they threw incompletes.

I could go on and on, you get my point......there was a reason why the Viking were going to offer him 400k/year to coach for them.

McBride got killed twice a year by the only two good teams NU played

Buhl struggled...

agree, overall he called a pretty solid game, although some of our guys were not staying home, wasn't his fault though.

I'm sorry, call me what you will, but when our linebackers are out of position on misdirection after misdirection, that's either the coaches fault for not coaching them properly or the coaches fault for not pulling them out of the game and putting someone in who can stay home on those plays.

When McKeon jumps into the line on 3 or 4 of those plays and ignores his assignment... that's got to be coaching in some way.

Well our defense IS an aggressive defense and what is the best way to beat a defense like that??? Use that aggressiveness and speed against them with misdirection plays. This is something that the coaches need to work on this week not only with our defense, but with our offense because USC has a very good defense and they are fast!!!!

I didn't have a problem with Coz, and I thought Grixby and Bowman played excellent.

GBR!

We pay the coaches to put the players in situations to win, and we won... I don't see why people are upset. The team we played did much better as far as rankings, wins, and just overall achievements than we did last year so it should have been a tough win.

If a player is ignoring his assignment, then who is at fault for ignoring his assignment? Oh yea, %$&!'n coach!

It's something they've needed to work on since Colorado ran all over us with draw plays 5 years ago (I think).

Fool me once, shame on you... fool me six times in one game... and on the exact same play twice in a row... shame on the preparation and coaching.
