I got kicked off Red Sea Scrolls for saying this last year but I am going to SCREAM IT NOW. Bo Ruud is AWFUL he missed 7-8 tackles had a brutal tackle on 3rd and long, on the running play they scored he didnt even try to tackle tather he tried to push the guy out of bounds from about 15 yards from the sideline. He looked lost and confused. McKeon, god love him but if you can honestly say that Dillard isnt better id like to hear it.

WR again we keep running the same group out there, they miss every 3rd throw they cant get open. It is sad when the announcers go over a play (the Keller Pick) and simply say that pick happened cuz the DB doesnt respect the speed of the WR. If they are gonna drop the Fing ball then put in the tall young speedsters at least they might instill some fear in the DB's. Petersen and Swift are toooooooo damn slow. Id rather have a fast tall field stretcher drop a ball than a slow methodical guy drop it.

Keller does need some consistency but the pick for example is not entirely his fault. those sideline hitches are timing based. To work they have to have the WR drive the DB back so that he turns to run and then the hitch is open. Swift and Petersen are not capable of doing that therefor the pick.

Purify, i know its his first game but damn man CATCH the ball

The O-line needs to stop believing the hype. They got pushed around by a smaller unit. Huff got abused which tells me Slauson must not be 100% healthy. We are gonna play much better D-lines

Lucky - what a trooper. He carried the load very effectively without anywhere to go most times. I thought he was very good BUT what happened to him out of the backfield. That was a huge weapon last year that seems to have been shelved this year.

Bottom line sit Ruud McKeon Swift Petersen and Play Dillard Brandenburg Holt Paul Henry Brooks. Play williams cruz or Jones and sit Huff and Christiansen

I can get behind benching Peterson. Kids terrible. And Ruud does need some remedial training this week but we'll be ok.

I'm getting pretty sick of the dropped passes also, put in guys that will catch.

Ruud is still a puzzling guy to me. He does not attack the ball carrier. All he does is grab and catch .... he's usually in position to make the tackle, but does punish.

Lucky is a better ball carrier this year. At times when there was nothing there, he lowered his head picked up speed and got what he could

Lineman got pushed around. Not the coaches fault..... Although, it was very hot during the game.

 
I really dont mind Swift bc he is more of a possession type of receiver and normally does catch the ball aside from one pass he dropped last game. I TOTALLY agree though, Erickson, Pederson, and Hardy need to be on the bench and Paul, Holt, and Brooks need to be in the game. If you arent going to play those three then at least have a set freakin depth chart and quit rotating 10 receivers in the game. Play IMO Purify, Nunn (by process of elimination) and Swift on three wide, and Nunn and Purify on two wide.

 
once again guys, hello!.......this was WF not Nevada! big difference and watch WF the rest of the season. BC beat them and they are tougher than most people think as well. when Wake gets there regular qb back they will not rollover for anyone. they have a pretty damn competitive football team.

and yes our receivers are embarrassing, they really are, for the most part, BUT once again, we are surely seeing the best we have on the field, demonstrated by their abilities displayed in practice, which includes route running, knowledge of the play book and , god forbid, ability to catch the ball........and probably, unfortunately, in that order!
