Maybe they're waiting to see what the numbers look like after the early signing day. If they miss on a couple big fish then they take him.
I mean he's rated the same as Johnson and Thompkins. He may not be the one who needs a redshirt year.I'm intrigued by this kid. If they take him, give him a RS year and see where he fits in behind Washington, Johnson and Thompkins.
Looks like he missed part of his junior year and all of his senior year with a knee injury.
Mills a question mark. A couple other good backs already in the fold. I wouldn't mind taking a chance here.
A really bad knee injury is not the same as it was 20 years ago. Rehabilitation is so much better that these kids will get back to healthy in months. Take a chance let them get better and they will be fine
Take two Rbs in the same class that suffered really bad knee injuries? That's quite the risk, no matter how talented we may think they are.
That's a fair point. But Thompkins is more of a Duck-R where we also have Wandale. So we have a Sophomore in Washington and a true freshman in Johnson. Bivens could easily redshirt and be nearly two years post-surgery when he steps on the field as a RS-Frosh.
