He definitely bonded w/Martinez. Said that (Martinez) is humble and that he felt like he could talk to him (A Mart) about anything. Said we blew his mind and exceeded what he thought the visit would be like. Said we blew the top off and are one of his top options. Will probably decide after his 3rd official visit which is this weekend at UCLA I believe.

We knew it was coming. Now to figure out what he thinks of it. As long as we get 1/2
Frost and company will not wait around for him to decide. They will take the best that is available. If Houston would commit, Njoku may be out. Plus Chris Hickman could play the big-bodied receiver role as a hybrid WR/TE.

Njoku is a kid you wait till the last hour if you have to. Can't pass him up...Nance and Chase are already similar to Houston in regards to size and speed.

Yep. Also the theory of Hickman solely taking that hybrid role is risky. McGriff had upside for that role. We lost him when it didn't work out and then had no one that size. We need more than one big bodied receiver.
That could be. I was just trying to ease the pain in case we didn’t get him. We also have Katerian Legrone. Not quite as tall but also could be used for that role.
Edit: Saw his game video. Legrone looks fast enough to be a deep threat and has some elusiveness. Also has the size and hard-hitting ability to be a LB.
