I thought this was an interesting question.

Throw out some ideas for a starting point and I'll add a poll after we get some suggestions.

1. Crouch - Won the Heisman, spectacular career highlight reel and Black 41 Flash Reverse Pass

2. Suh - The pure domination he endured to opposing teams made him a fan favorite. Outland, Lombardi, Bronko Nagurski, Chuck Bednarik award winner and finished 4th in the Heisman race. SUUUUUHHHHH

3. Barrett Rudd - One of our best LB since Trev at the time and still holds the record of career total tackles with Nebraska. RUUUUUUUDDDDDD

4. Rex Burkhead - class act both on and off the field. His relation with Jack made him a fan favorite. 

5. Taylor Martinez - got a lot of fans excited to see a mobile quarterback again knowing that any minute he could break one.
