Have they even ran the zone on defense tonight?  The offensive pukefest has just muddled with the defensive effort for me tonight I haven’t noticed

I also love the lack of urgency this team has shown.  Games with around four minutes left and are still in a manageable deficit, and there is just no care.

That falls on a coach as well.

I think they’re tired due to no backup play while Purdue has scrappy bench guys harassing us.

This opponent and our type of players calls for driving every time, then kicking out if necessary. You don’t see that much. Our big guy should be getting offensive boards on the back side, not ball handling for our NBA stars.

Afraid we’ve wasted too much time taking Ill advised shots for a comeback.
I think we had guys with NBA potential. Thinking this season hurts their stock

No it has been evident for a while, like in years past.

And your second point, look no further than Miles.  Nana and Amir gave serviceable minutes in the first half, and where are they this half???  How about Heiman??? Again you don’t need these guys to drop 30 off the bench, but serviceable three-five minute stretches.

Another on going problem all year, milk carton players.

Thanks Timmy for continuing to foul at the end to guarantee the cover :thumbs

three games in in a row of easy money

6 total fouls in the first half,  23 in the 2nd.
Its Mackey...as a visiting team you are lucky if you get out of that place alive...

I am not sure if it is the worst (best) home court in the Big Ten but it is in the top 3 for sure.

With that said...If I am Moos...I am calling Steve Pikell (that isn't spelled right) from Rutgers...I am offering him 3 million a year for 7 years...RIGHT NOW.

That dude is all class, all coach, all world.

How true, we get to the last 7 to 8 minutes and shots start to fall short.

If they had NBA potential they wouldn't have come back.
Yeah, three of them could’ve coordinated to drive the basket and put it in or kick out to 3 point shooters rather than what that solo s#!t was we saw. Maryland had some serious bigs, Purdue didn’t.

The NBA style one-on-one defense also leaves guys wide open everywhere. Doc was good at making so-so players defend as a team.

We DO have some players but they’re not utilized very well and fresh bench players have a role in college ball. Our starters look beat.

Husker fans reallllllllllllly need to stop thinking that Roby is NBA and that Palmer is NBA.

I mean, they might catch on...but those types of players a a dime a dozen.

I think Roby will be given a chance to play in the NBA but Palmer is unlikely.   Dude can't defend imo.  Roby has at least the measurables.
