2019 Basketball Recruiting Notes

I’m actually hopeful that because Hoiberg hates recruiting he has no choice but to recruit Omaha since its the only place close with talent

I think he will stay with the transfer market and hire good asst. to recruit.  Omaha is ok, but watching the state tournament showed me that they are not above other players in the state.

Emmanuel Ugboh at Iowa Western has/had an offer from Miles!  This would be quick depth while Hoiberg builds his team.

 
Lard would be a tremendous get, but likes to party hard!  Could be Farley all over again!  He needs to grow up a little if he wants to make it to the NBA.   

 
Apologize if this has been covered, but am a bit confused over recruiting times. Fred said yesterday that he would be visiting our signed guys today and his first assistant seems to be indicating he will be in front of potential transfers immediately.

Also thought Fred indicated that this phase of recruiting starts in earnest AFTER the final 4.

Are there different recruiting time periods for signed recruits vs "new" targets?

Early signing period is Nov. 14-21 & regular signing period is April 17-May 15.

 
In April, there is a dead period from 4th through 10th, then 4 days to recruit.  Followed by 15 thru the 18th as another dead period.  Not sure if this is for HS or Juco or both.
