2019 Basketball Recruiting Notes

Wondering if there has been any talk of Fred's son Jack transfering from MSU?  I know in- conference transfers have more issues, but you'd think a chance to play for Dad might mitigate some of those. I also recognize Jack wasn't a key player, but we've long lacked a savvy sub who could spot in, light up some 3's, and run the offense while giving breathers to starters in that quaint "coach on the floor role".

Anyone hear any rumblings on this?

The little rumblings I heard was it wasnt going to happen.

Transfer rules have changed so he can go wherever once in the Transfer portal.

That being said, it sounds like good chance he will stay at MSU.

I wouldnt be shocked if maybe he graduated and grad-transferred in a few years.

But seems like he likes MSU.

He can go where he wants, as he is a walk-one not on scholarship!

Ya, but he could go anywhere he wanted as a Scholarship Athlete as well. The transfer portal has changed teams from blocking other schools. 

I believe even though he is a walk on, he still needs to sit out a year if he transfers since he played.

Not sure about going from walk on to scholarship.  Did Sam Bradford Baker Mayfield sit when he went from Texas Tech to Oklahoma?

And had they kept Miles, but Roby left it might have been Allen at 8.7.  From what I've heard, Allen probably was gone either way so it would have been Nana at 4.3 because that's so much better than Harris at 2.2.
