Eric Lee was said to be the 3rd guy and had a great spring after switching to safety. Avery Anderson also took some reps there.

Neither have contributed at Nebraska in their 3 years so far....I get they could surprise us, but right now we have no depth

Avery Anderson hasn't. Eric Lee started at corner some in 2017, it wasn't particularly good, but he did start.

The calvary is coming.
2021: Dismuke, Williams, Smith, Wright, NPG/Farmer (one probably stays at CB).
Still think Taylor could be a good safety (and might this year) but he's likely taking Lamar's spot next year.
But Fisher can't slow down and I hear ya this year.

The way Fisher recruits secondary guys I think we will be fine at Safety. Every guy they bring in looks like they could play CB or S.
Yeah, this. I don't thin we're think at safety. I think we're thin at corner. They are trying most of the new guys at corner hoping one or two will be able to work out there. But at least some of them will end up back at safety.
Safety doesn't worry me. But we need to find some corners to have a chance to be a great defense.

If he's struggling academically why is he transferring? Or is he going to JUCO? Transferring because you aren't getting the grades seems weird to me.

He did not play this spring due to grades. He just needs a fresh start. This one is hard see go, way too much potential! I wish him good luck!
