The last shot is definitely a Tom Cat, and all others are some variant of the Hornet.

The Navy phased the F-14 out years ago, so we'll see what crazy story they come up with to bring it back.

I loved that plane as a kid, the swept wing concept and Phoenix missles were so cool. F-18 was a good choice for a successor, I've always said they sound like the sounds of hell when they fly over head. The F-35 just isn't as sexy as it's predecessors, it's more of a bloated mess.

I had some knock off version where the canopy open and the wings would sweep. Then there were a couple buttons to make all the cool noises.

After I recorded it off TV....
