Why no Castille???

"Who wants to go somewhere where they won't get a shot until they're a junior?" Yeah, that's clearly a problem. USC should look into fixing that. Guys like John David Booty and Patrick Turner might - oh, wait.

Not sure, but along with what everyone else said, I thought Glenn did a pretty good job. Got a couple TDs and caught a couple passes out of the backfield. Hopefully he can build on this performance coming off of some injuries.

im not so sure i would want a true-freshman to be thrown in the mix as our primary back against the #1 ranked team in the nation..
why even if he fumbled it is valuble experience for him especially since he has the ability to run over and through people, traits lucky doesn't have.
so you would want him in there just to get him experience, even if he would do bad?? uh...cool

sorry guys, the coaching staff knows the players a bit better than we do. If he really would have done a better job, he woulda been in there

Maybe you should check out the USC depth chart before you reference just two players....

FRESHMAN STARTERS

WR - David Ausberry

C - Kristofer O'Dowd

FB - Stanley Havili

RB - Joe McKnight

DE - Everson Griffen

Sophomore Starters

RT - Charles Brown

RB - C.J. Gable

RB - Stafon Johnson

RB - Allen Bradford

FS - Taylor Mays

Others who played early in the game

WR - Vidal Hazelton - Sophomore

CBs - Vincent Joseph and Shareece Wright - Both Sophomores

Oh and by the way Patrick Turner as a freshman played in 12 games catching 12 balls for 170 yards and as a sophomore had 29 grabs for 272..... so this isn't his first field experience.

USC and other high profile school's are gaining success with freshman and sophmores, so either our juniors and seniors are unreal (which by yesterday can't be true) or these guys we're recuiting aren't as great as everyone says they are...... or maybe C the coaching staff just needs to get these guys on the field, seriously could have they done any worse yesterday?

So they had five starters in their backfield. No wonder they could run all over us. They had more players on the field than we did on their first play.

C'mon man... they obviously had one starter, but it's just like our team last year, they have multiple backs listed as the starter... my point was that multiple freshman and sophmores started and played last night.
