I think he’s earned some time on the bench because he’s brought all of this on himself, his coach, his team and his university. Actions have consequences, and sitting out a game or two pales in comparison to what is potentially at stake for him.
Additionally I think he’s earned some time on the bench because of his decision making after the fact. This all came out in Feb, (if I remember correctly). He of all people should have been on the straightest and narrowest path. Then he gets busted for weed. (For the record, I don’t really care about weed, but it’s a pretty easy rule to follow) Yes it got thrown out because of a technicality. But it shows a pattern of poor decision making.
Maybe I am taking it more seriously than folks here and the media at large. But I wouldn’t be shocked if this story grew legs and got a lot of attention.
