Jumped to the #125 player on the Top 247. Now ranked a .93 4 Star. That is a hell of a jump.

Interesting.  His composite is still .8889 because the other sites haven't updated their rankings.  It will be interesting to see what they do.

Why he made the Iowa Eight: The torn labrum that forced Gunnerson to miss his junior season was a blessing in disguise. During surgery, doctors removed extra bone growth on his hip, which had limited his mobility. Now, Gunnerson is healthier than before. He's a daunting, explosive athlete and a violent pass-rusher. He picked Nebraska over Iowa State, Iowa, Minnesota and Kansas State.

His team finished 3-6.  He had 47 tackles and 8.5 TFLs including 6 sacks.

Apparently he's still fighting serious pain issues in his hip.  Hip bones were overgrown causing them to wear on each labrum.  He had surgery on one last year and it was fine to start the season.  They weren't going to do the other one until he started having issues.  But he ended up fighting it all season.  Had surgery on the other one Monday.  Expected to be fine in time for Spring Practice and it's not expected to be an issue going forward.  Still planning to attend the All-American bowl but won't be participating.
