When we have mastered the basics of offensive football we can begin to get cute.  Until then, Frost needs to focus on the basics.  


Swing passes are a core part of frosts offense. I wouldn't call it cute... he is well aware of how poor our blocking is between the tackles so he's working the perimeter a lot. 

Again, if the calls are executed, people would be praising the play calls.

And that's a wish more for the coaches than the players right now.
So true.  Frost is the man, BUT IMHO, he has a lot of growing to do coaching in the B1G.  I think he, like Bo and Riley really underestimated to coaching/talent/physicality of this league.

But our perimeter blocking isn't any better. 

Maybe it is all players and execution but, if it is, we have a helluva long way to go.
