Start Mcaffrey vs Wisconsin, Iowa

Even if it made the most sense Frost is probably too stubborn to do it. But I would start arguably our best athlete and maybe QB in the home games against Wisconsin and Iowa. The only way to change the negative culture and get a sniff of momentum going into the offseason would be to compete with these two teams at home. Luke has 2 games left and who cares about Maryland you’re gonna lose out. Give him the keys

All things considered, this makes some sense.  I doubt it will happen though.

McCaffrey was so injured he didn't travel with the team yesterday, we don't even know if he could play.
True, but I think the original post wast predicated on him being able to go by then.  He''s got two weeks to heal up.  Hopefully it happens.

Still drunk from yesterday, I see.

I think mccaffery gives you the best chance to win anyways honestly rather have him start vs iowa and Maryland the two teams that you have the best chance to beat. Martinez shouldn't be apart of the plans going forward

Sadly, someone posted the true freshman and their participation snaps thus far....IMHO, this staff still needs to learn how to use the whole "4 game RS rule".....Again, my opinion, but why not get the guys some serious looks going against the top competition in the West.  It will enable the staff to see how their kids stack up to FBS competition as well as see if they meet the expectations coming out of HS.  Lastly, gives them game experience so next year it's not the  whole "we are young, need more experience" excuses.

I agree that anyone but Martinez should start for the rest of the season.

More importantly give the keys of the Defense to someone else.

Many years ago I drove to Lubbock to watch Nebraska Play Texas Tech.  It was an immense a$$ beating.  Nebraska fans kept screaming for the second string QB, Callahan refused for almost all of the game.  He finally gave in and put young Beau in the game.  He never played another game.  He was destroyed. I don't know that would happen, but getting too much too soon can destroy the psychic of a player.

I think Luke is strong, but really want him to get his red shirt year and protected thru it.
