Pasadena Husker
All-Conference
did anyone else hear it?
maybe not laughable, but when he was asked about the defense giving up 600+ yards of offense, the reason he gave was that the defense was in a lot of man to man coverages and that they gave up most of the yards off of broken plays when the quarterback was scrambling and then was able to find an open receiver. i unfortunately had to listen to the game over the internet, but from their call it didn't sound like their quarterback was running all over the field because of heavy down linemen rush and slinging the ball and getting lucky. it sounded as if the down D-linemen couldn't get off of their blocks and the quarterback sat back and picked them apart. This should be good!!!!
:rollin :rollin :rollinImagine everything you can think of for a defense to do wrong, then put them in Husker jerseys and you'd have the proper mental image.
Agreed this whole team needs to sit out a week or two. Figure out why they want to play football. I loathe watching them now. Thanks Cally. Fire your friend.Imagine everything you can think of for a defense to do wrong, then put them in Husker jerseys and you'd have the proper mental image.
They did roll him out quite a bit. More than a few times he scrambled to make a play. He definitely didn't sit in the pocket all day.maybe not laughable, but when he was asked about the defense giving up 600+ yards of offense, the reason he gave was that the defense was in a lot of man to man coverages and that they gave up most of the yards off of broken plays when the quarterback was scrambling and then was able to find an open receiver. i unfortunately had to listen to the game over the internet, but from their call it didn't sound like their quarterback was running all over the field because of heavy down linemen rush and slinging the ball and getting lucky. it sounded as if the down D-linemen couldn't get off of their blocks and the quarterback sat back and picked them apart. This should be good!!!!
In passing terms he had more than all day and they actually made lanes for him to pass in. He rarely had to scramble to make a play, he stepped up after 3 full seconds to make a pass. They did roll him out quite a bit. More than a few times he scrambled to make a play. No doubt. Pass rush was bad. The kid made great plays all day.In passing terms he had more than all day and they actually made lanes for him to pass in. He rarely had to scramble to make a play, he stepped up after 3 full seconds to make a pass.
Well, he did make a pretty much game-saving play. Maybe he needs to be coached more than benched.Don't remember all the comments. He definitely is not a leader, has no real drive and doesn't have the ability to play past the first two. Ruud definitely needs to be benched.
