QB: I really hope we get to see an off season battle between Luke and Adrian but ultimately I don't see Frost starting Luke unless we start losing games.

But... um.. we "started losing games" right away since Frost got here.  And we continued to until and through yesterday.

And we still have Martinez.

My hope:

QB: Martinez, Vedral, McCaffrey

RB: Mills, Johnson, Thompkins, Morrison

LT: Jamies, Cochran or Sichterman

LG: Piper, Wilson, Bando

C: Juergens, Farniok

RG: Farniok or Banks, Hixson

RT: Benhart, Bando or Farniok

WR: Manning, Houston or Warner, Nance

WR: Betts or Chase, Nance, Warner

Duck-R/Slot: Spielman or Robinson, Warner

TE: Allen, Hickman or Still, Vokolek

Based on Frost's statements about starting true freshman in the trenches I don't see Cochran starting at tackle. From what tidbits I've heard they have high hopes for Piper.

At WR I would like to see bigger bodies start. Because Spielman and Robinson have been prone to injury late in the season, I would like for them to split reps to maintain their health.

On paper looks like a lot of upgrades.

Hopefully that becomes reality.

Year 3 means a whole crop of guys lifting, eating, running, practicing...and sadly watching us lose. Hopefully after all the physical things they’ve been doing they can get the mental part right.

I feel the biggest issue with the Frost led team is mental. Gotta turn the corner mentally. Frost said “the confidence with this team is really fragile for some reason”. Losing is a culture and so is winning. Frost is a winner and it’s obvious he doesn’t understand why his players don’t just win, make the damn play that wins the game . 0-9 in one possession games. Think about that. 0-9. That’s not a physical problem, we are in the games. That’s a mental problem to believe you can make the play.

Yes, clock management and some bad things play calling here and there. If these freshman have any desire to mentally get there, the physical part certainly is. I’m excited for 2020 already

I can’t believe I’m saying this because I’m emphatically someone who thinks we need to break away from the past to improve, but I honestly thought our use of the option this year was great, and would like to see it more.

May I ask who you don't think will be here? I have my idea too

Nothing concrete and I hope I’m wrong, but I have heard rumblings that our most popular defensive and offensive (not Wandale) players won’t be back next year.

We'd have to be excellent at it.. with the triple included.  Option plays seem to get stuffed quite readily these days.

After Domann's comment after the Iowa game, I'd actually be surprised if he comes back. We could use him for sure, but only if he wants to be here.
