I know it's probably irrelevant in this case (hopefully) but I don't like KSU being an 8-9 win team. We need to continue to pluck talent like this from Kansas when it comes up. Even three star guys like Conn could become much more difficult with a competitive KSU team.

That new coach has them playing very well.

College recruiting is all sorts of messed up most of the time, but the wholesomeness of pictures of coaches in real people houses visiting these guys is great. (Looking at you, Tristan Gebbia)

Combine that with film that doesn't lie – the mean streak is easy to spot – and that's why 247Sports director of recruiting, Steve Wiltfong, evaluates Corcoran as the type of "long and lean prospect" who "could/should easily carry 320 pounds" at the next level and has "flexibility to play all five offensive line positions."

Words like "de-cleater" and "finisher with the nastiness covered at the position" are mentioned. And, ultimately, Wiltfong writes, that Corcoran "projects as a starter by the second year in college program as he rounds into shape physically. Ceiling says one of the top offensive linemen to ultimately hear his name in the NFL Draft."
