JD Spielman rumors

If he wants to go I'll wish him well.  I wouldn't blame him.  Frost clearly favors his guys and jd isnt going to be a focal point of the offense as we saw from this year.  I would just prefer he went somewhere else besides a team on the schedule next year.

That is a steaming pile of hot take.   It’s ok, you can take a while to think about this one because it seems really hard.

How many years has JD played for Frost and what record is he chasing?
This is the single funniest thing I've read on the internet in 2019.  That sounds like a burgeoning subcategory of porn.  Oh my god, I'm crying laughing over here.

The answer is two years, and he's chasing the career yards mark set by Stanley Morgan last year.  I think he's something like 400 yards away from catching him.

Based on Frost's comments and in addition, Doman's tweet last week, I feel as if both guys are coming back.  Frost hasn't made comments on other "iffy's" (Washington) and his excitement.  Both guys were probably frustrated at end of season, and now they step back and look at realistic options and get settled back in.

In regards to a post earlier, JD is the focal point of the offensive passing game, almost to a fault, so it has nothing to do with Frost wanting to play his "own" guys.

Agreed. And I would think that JD would be jacked about the signing of Omar Manning, because (if Manning is as advertised) the Offense will now have multiple threats and will force a defense to account for the entire field. I would think that will only help JD as he gets more room to operate....

Can't hurt that he might have a better blocker on those swing passes so he won't get destroyed each time.

I’ve been saving that one for a while, embarrassingly.

You did that young man’s homework for him.  A+ for you!

The only logical reason I could possibly see where this would make sense for him would be if he thought that Minnesota's QB situation gave him a better chance of being showcased for the 2021 NFL draft.

Outside of that, it wouldn't be worth the hassle in any way, shape, or form for him.
since he is not a grad transfer (my understanding) wouldn't he have to sit out one year?  thinking he may not want to delay his shot at the league.
