Maurice Washington Faces Charges

Yes, society is paying the price for the lack of proper parenting and the lack of our schools teaching that there are consequences for certain behaviors. It would seem almost impossible to reclaim a better way.
Schools can’t discipline or even provide consequences It’s very hard for schools to discipline kids now as federal mandates regarding positive behavioral interventions, providing or not encroaching on a student’s FAPE rights, school accountability regulations, the presence of “advocates,” etc.

I was confident that Mo would be given an opportunity to earn his teammates' trust back as late as Saturday evening. Now, I dont feel that is in the cards and we won't be seeing Mo back.

Good seeing you again EZ-E.  Just curious.  Based off of what?

I understand that and am not blaming the schools directly. They have simply reacted/adjusted based on school admin being forced by parents and the legal system.

But I do think things were much better in this regard when parenting was better and the schools were allowed to help enforce limitations and consequences. I won't go into it in depth and derail the subject but it is plain pathetic how schools can no longer enforce even minimal attendance standards for their student athletes. I've had this discussion with the athletic director at the high school where my kids went. Basically told him how useless and pathetic their attendance standards were for athletes. He's been so beaten down by the system I'm not even sure he sees how futile their little rules are.

Hed be remorseful since being suspended indefinitely.

Hed still been going to class and doing better there than he had been.

Frost was open to Mo coming back under certain circumstances.

Mo was at the awards banquet a couple Sundays ago.

If you listen to what Scott said at the signing day presser, I feel one could hear him start to set the narrative for a Mo return.

I had no idea Mo was at the awards banquet recently.  I know he's still listed on the roster officially.  Maybe we'll have a better idea ultimately of where this situation sits once his legal issues are finished.

Yeah, after Saturday evening I'm not as confident Mo will be back. We shall see

Nothing happened on saturday. Just the things I was hearing changed tune.
Greg Sharpe was on Nick Handley’s show, I think Friday, and Sharpe wasn’t holding his breath. Said the expectations of what was set out for him is a tough task which he didn’t have confidence would be achieved.
