Idea for new DC

If he would be willing we could try to bring in Dan McCarney former ISU head Coach and current USF D-line coach. McCarney already has a sophomore leading the nation in sacks and tackles for a loss.

I totally agree. knows the area recruiting wise, is good friends with BC and has proven to be a good coach.

I think that is a horrible idea. McCarney walked into a position that already had talent there. The guy has no fire, I went to ISU and he was a joke. He is an aw shucks, go get em tiger guy, and he plays not to lose. It wont be long and you will see USF defense go down hill, only a matter of time.

He did a pretty good job at ISU. And even if he walked into a situation with talent how would him being the line coach end up with less talent? Levits recruiting and eye for under appreciated talent is what puts talent there.

Win like what?.....The guy gave away more games that he should have won because he would get super conservative. Thats just my opinion after watching him for 5 yrs. It was laughable, he was more predictable than BC calling a run play with Cody Glenn in the backfield.
