Bourbon, Whisky and Scotch

Once someone has burned off all their taste buds, they start liking peat.
Haha, maybe!

He's got a large variety of scotches and likes most of them. He's the one that got me into scotch with MacCallum and especially Aberlour.

It sucked neat, with a splash of water, with ice, mixed with coke.  Worst brown spirit I've ever had.

Been banging through some E.H. Taylor Straight Rye for the past month or so.  Got one bottle as a Christmas present and found it at HyVee over the holidays for either $75 or $80.  So darn tasty.  Will be moving over to try their small batch after I work through these two bottles.

I have a client proposal coming up and if it goes through I'm definitely buying a Michters 4 pack which includes their 10 year bourbon which I've heard is life changing.

If looking for a good handle of Scotch on a budget, pick up Famous Grouse Red Label.  Very good for around a $40 1.75
