Who are the players and when did this allegedly happen?
Yeah it is not good at all.If in the current client what the article is saying is true, UNL is a huge f#&%ing failure. I truly don't know how you can be this stupid, now of all times.
The women reported the incident to UNL’s Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance, the office responsible for investigating instances of sexual misconduct and harassment under Title IX, but the lawsuit states no investigation was initiated as is required by law.
Davis later told an instructor at UNL about the alleged assaults, and the employee reported the incident to the Title IX office, but still no investigation was started.
<snip>
One unnamed student, who reported being sexual assaulted by a Husker player, said she was reluctant to move forward with a Title IX investigation after learning the office sent another female student’s confidential information to an involved student with the same first name but a different last name.
This is a lawsuit against the NCAA...is there also a corresponding lawsuit against UNL? If these allegations are true, why would there not be?
If the allegations of wrongdoing by UNL are not true, UNL should be able to easily disprove them, because any Title IX reports should be well documented, even if (especially if) no action was taken. The steps to take, even if no other reason than to check the boxes and avoid lawsuits, are so well known by major universities at this point that it is completely baffling that any of this stuff would happen. So if these allegations are true....well, f&#k.
But if complaints were made, there should be ample evidence to show how they were or weren't handled.
