B1G Officially Cancels 2020 Season, What’s Next For NU?

Interesting that this is coming on the heels of reports that the ACC is starting to lean more towards playing a season, a change of pace from where they were a few days ago.

I don't think the craziness for us anyway is over.  Frost has said NU week seek out it's own schedule of the B1G cancels.

NU may actually be in the transfer portal.  This is crazy.

That would be great. Other than a positive financial impact the move to the Big 10 has been less than ideal from a sports perspective.

I have no idea what it looks like, but I think NU tries everything they can within rules and contracts to have a football season. Wouldn't be surprised to see lawsuits.

What next for NU? They hopefully play football in the Spring with the rest of the B1G.

Any other "scenario" is just a fantasy. We'd be stupid to go against the B1G on this.
Right. Can’t really break contract because you were out voted.

Lawyers paradise

You may get to play OSU without their starting QB and many others opting out for the draft.

Since the NCAA is a bunch of pusses, why can’t we scrimmage teams from own conference?  I guess Iowa would be it.

Kevin Warren has been a horrible replacement for Jim Delaney thus far, and the BIG now is in a situation where it must cancel all dorm living as well as that would involve too much close contact.  I assume all classes will have to be done online as well with no in person interaction.
