Kansas vs Kansas State

Anyone see that last KU touchdown? Great play calling on 3rd and short. I did not see that one coming.

27-24 KU. KU missed the extra point. Less than 6 min left in the 4th.

Either that, or KSU is for fake . . . which I think we all suspected.

EDIT: You all know I could never admit another team poses a threat to the Huskers.

That was a terrible bit of coaching by mangino. Why go for 2? Up 4 or up 5. Doesnt really matter. Up 3 if you miss, however, thats not a good place to be. Not to mention not kicking the field goal to go up by seven.

He thinks his teams play should silence critics. We'll see about that.

Excellent win for KU - they went into a hostile environment against an in-state rival that had just come off a monster win. Good job, KU.

I agree on the 4th in 1, he shouldn't have gone for it... or if he did, he should of pounded it with Brandon McAnderson right up the gut and not the option.

On going for two, it was a mishandled snap, the kicker picked it up and tried to throw it to Fine for the 2-pt conversion... not a Mangino called play.

I think the slow start by our QB today was expected, it was his first away start ever, and first day of conference play... he settled in, and after he got going he was good (not great only because of the int's...). I'm looking forward to playing you 'skers in November... and I'll be yelling at my TV tonight for the Corn to muck up fizzou.
