Best of luck to him, I think he's better than most fans realize. I also don't hate using the Maryland game to see what we've got with some guys too, so opens the door for Corcoran or Banks to audition for next year. We'll miss Jaimes though.

Before the season started Austin said he felt like this was the first year we were two-deep on the O Line. 

I guess we're going to find out if that's the case or not.

Figured this was the case from Jaimes’ tweet but this confirms it. Rooting for him to do well in the NFL! He could have transferred or quit but played hard here.

Good luck to the young man, he went through a lot of hard times and turnover here (maybe the roughest stretch of Husker football ever). He never complained about any of it publicly and stuck with his teammates. A true Husker!

I suppose if there's a silver lining to this for Nebraska, it means Jaimes feels he's likely to get drafted. Always better to have players drafted than not, I guess.

Too many of Nebraska's offensive linemen have had to wait until they finally received quality coaching in the NFL before blossoming into their potential.... I expect the same from Jaimes. Good for him, and Good Luck!

This isn't very fair. No O-Lineman blossom in college. The Pro game is a 24-7 365 job and all players blossom there if they are going to.

Nebraska offensive linemen who make it to the NFL have been routinely average at Nebraska, only to turn in respectable, success NFL careers....

Maybe they weren't average while they were here, and none of us know how to evaluate linemen.

You don't have to know how to evaluate linemen to be able to distinguish between good and bad line play.

Going to disagree here, as well. All of the lineman I can think of in the NFL for NU have been average servicable journeyman lineman at best. So.. Average here. Average there. Just average.. Which is what you expect from 3 star guys that "blossom".
