He would have been 3rd string at both guard spots next season. He knows, and was probably told, not likely to get many snaps next year.

Injuries and illness severely limited Sevion Morrison. I think the coaches were counting on him contributing a lot this year. I agree the RB recruiting is a concern. Those guys shouldn’t have to be “developed” too much, as the good ones should be plug and play type guys.

You always worry about durability issues with RBs. Hope this doesn't become an ongoing thing with him...

Another example of an odd year this year. Morrison probably suffers a minor injury which sets him back a week or two.  Then he gets COVID and who knows how much that affected him. Then he gets injured again, after his body could have been in a weakened state due to the effects of COVID. I think we should see how he does in the following years before questioning his durability. He didn’t show any issues in high school.
