It's hard to like Ohio State but it's funny watching them destroy after hearing so many times they don't deserve to be there, and I'd rather them win the playoff than any of the other 3 teams that made it.

Hopefully they keep or increase the lead in the 2nd half.

I like the Irish, like a good independent competitor.  Maybe beat Navy, maybe  lose to Army, maybe go to OT with Purdue or USC or Michigan State.

They are like Northwestern with a bit more talent and a lot more historical sensationalism. They should never been in the playoff, and it is ridiculously clear to everybody outside of the committee/TV/Network sponsors.

Najee Harris literally just jumped over the ND defender.  Wow....

Eh, not impressed.  A player jumps when they so afraid to truck someone or get hit.  Afraid of contact in a collision sport.  We have seen it happen over the years.  Chicken jumper.

They only had 1 loss but their last game should have been considered a first playoff game, 'cause it showed whether they would get anywhere in the playoff. Cincinnati should have been given a chance, even though they probably would've been blown out too.

I agree, losing to Clemson was a red flag but the committee looked the other way.  Texas AM or Cincinnati would have been equally deserving to represent (and a fresh face).  IMO Oklahoma would have been a better opponent too.

Alabama, OSU, Clemson are clearly the best of the best.

"It was a down year for the Big Ten."

Um... what info do we have to back that up? We had no out of conference games. Maybe there were a lot of good teams... but they all played each other.
