They definitely would give him the option          , but he’s got the potential to be a shut down corner.   That’s pretty much a guarantee to get a combine invite.

He and his mom did travel to Minnesota recently - his first time on campus.

Coaching and playing time are said to be his two main factors in choosing a school.

Not necessarily.  Even though Oregon and Nebraska might be where he's leaning right now, he might have wanted to take the trip to Minnesota just to make sure he doesn't want to go there.  

The big question is, did the trip change his mind any.

Highly doubt that. Look at his recent twitter follows. That isn't someone signing with Minnesota.

Reports I've seen - including where the Minny trip was reported - said that they've heard that Oregon had passed Minny as well.  But you can drive to Minny, not so much to Oregon.  

 
Playing time....ha.... is this a kid that wants to be told he will come in and play..... or does he want to to hear that he will be allowed to come in and compete !

If it is the latter, then hope he is N.....if he wants a sunshine promise, hope he goes elsewhere bc he will leave after 1 year.
