We desperately need this win today! Kind of a do or die scenario here. Win it and stay in control of winning the conference title. Lose it and need help to achieve that goal.

 
Hopefully the bats aren't dead again at this 10:00 a.m. start like they were yesterday in the first game. I'll be interested to see how the bull pen is used today as well.

He won't pitch much, but it's good to get him back out there. They're going to throw the whole bullpen at Rutgers today. Give a lot of guys a little bit of work.

For as bad as NU was and Rutgers was good last weekend, it seems like things have reversed course this weekend.  Rutgers could go 0-4, while NU and Indiana each go 3-1.

 
Johnny Wholestaff games make me miss the Creighton-Nebraska midweeks. Nothing better than good baseball, 70 degree weather and a cold beer at TD.
