Questionable decision to leave in Schreiber in to pitch the 7th. Many better arms still in the pen IMO that aren’t susceptible to the bomb like Schreiber... especially against the #1 hr team in the league. 

 
Great inning and finally woke up! Albeit some of it due to the quality of pitching with NW short staffed.

Logan Foster has had some good swings today. A shame he is O-3. His bat has come alive. 

 
Nebraska wins, due to available players, there may not be a game tomorrow. So that should be a forfeit and we should get a dub.

Everyone is playing by the same rules. It’s just dumb luck that NU is having a game taken away. The Northwestern players could have taken every precaution to stay away from COVID, and still have caught it. That’s my point about penalizing a team because of guys getting sick from a world wide pandemic.

No I get it. It just sucks that Nebraska can’t pick up games against healthy teams and can have games cancelled for something that have no control over. NW is at no fault but we also are victims because the B1G adopted a dumbass policy.

We are close to agreeing, but do you think teams should be given a forfeit if they aren’t able to field a team due to COVID issues within the team? That’s where I disagree. This isn’t like running out of arms because of injuries or a traditional illness, these are health and safety protocols within a pandemic. It sucks when it happens to NU, but a no-contest is the appropriate result.
