A Blackout for the Okie State Game

What if everyone wore black this Saturday to Memorial Stadium? We could show our support to the Blackshirts and maybe, just maybe it might spark something inside them. I have been thinking that maybe the mood of the crowd does indeed affect the players. If someone was out there booing you, would you want to play? Would you care as much? Of course, it would break the record of "the sea of red". But maybe that "tradition" needs to be broken too. ;)

A great idea, but I'm thinking that a Sea of Red and a good, supportive crowd will be just the right medicine for these young guys!

Well, I should not have said "needs to" be broken, I meant maybe it could just this once. I am for a "Red Out" as well. That would be awesome too!

 
WOULD YOU FRICKING REALIZE, that no matter what you say, and how many people you encourage to do this, its never ever going to actually happen???

I agree, if we could just switch the Red with Black for one game, YES, it would be awesome. BUT, that is never going to happen, you can't tell everyone this, and all your gonna do is have a mix of mostly red and some black, and have it look terrible.

If they did manage to get a B****** it would be kind of convenient as everyone will likely be attending a funeral on Saturday.

In the past, I've been one of the most staunch supporters of a B******. But in light of the fact that it never has been pulled off with any great results (the best was the Texas game last year, and even that wasn't all that impressive), I say that we just abandon the idea completely. Yea, I'd love to see it, but it's never going to be effective. Let's just move on from this idea permanently.
