Netflix & streaming video stuff worth watching

Thanks, guys; I'll add it to the list.

What about Ted Lasso? I've heard excellent things, but don't have Apple TV. Season 2 is later this month; is it worth a subscription?

IDK, is there anything at all worth watching on Apple TV? I got it free for 6 or 12 months with my new iPhone but I haven’t watched anything. Looks pretty bleak imo. Can’t imagine anyone is paying a subscription for it.

I know people that really like Ted Lasso. We couldn't make it thru the first episode.

If you have Apple TV watch Servant. It's a series from M. Night Shyamalan. The Beastie boys doc was good too

I gave up on Outlander after the episode Jamie was endlessly violated and tortured. We already hated the bad guy, there was absolutely no need to have a whole episode of torture porn.

This was a completely unnecessary episode. The graphic nature of it all was just awful. We kept going after this one, but it took a while to shake it off.

Fear Street part one:  1994

Happy Endings is really funny
Happy Endings absolutely rules and I would pay an uncomfortable amount of money for another season.

Reading some good reviews for Gunpowder Milkshake which is supposed to drop on Netflix in a couple of days.

Happy Endings is like Friends, if Friends used some "edgy" jokes.

Haven't watched it yet but American Vandal looks good. It's a mockumentary (or mock true crime) about a high schooler wrongly(?) accused of drawing penises on faculty cars.

You ever watched Hell on Wheels series?  Construction of the First Transcontinental Railroad across the United States.  First three seasons, Nebraska territory scenes.  Mostly fictional characters but a few, real characters like Doc Durant, President Grant, Senator Ames,  Brigham Young, Collis Huntington, etc.

I enjoyed it throughout. For the most part, the TV show is extremely accurate.  Except season 5, mostly fake.

Anyway one episode titled "Durant Nebraska". Tiny and small village, mostly tents.  I initially thought make believe Durant town but in fact, real town.  Burn down Indian war.  Vicinity of Polk & Stromburg NE location.  However now days, not a trace at all and I think no historical mark sign.

UPDATE: Now discontinued (NetFlix).  However, still playing at Prime Video HOW series.

Malice at the Palace doc on Netflix is really good. I won't spoil it but let's just say there are some really s#!tty humans out there and none of them had jerseys on that night
