Blackout ALTERNATIVE

Waving towels isn't going to do anything for the team and really, should we as fans have to work to motivate our players? I'm just amazed that playing for Nebraska isn't motivation enough and if it isn't, perhaps the coaches should do something about it.

But just maybe the coaches aren't motivated either.
But maybe it does something for a flat fan base...in turn doing something for the team...its a crazy "Unity" thing that I've heard is beneficial to things like teams.
Heaven forbid we would want to do all we can to help motivate these kids. :bonez

Some things evolve. Without it...they die. (See: Dinosaur).

C'mon, everyone knows that Chuck Norris killed the dinosaurs.
Ahhhhh....Well played my friend....well played.

They already have blackshirt towels that they sell to wave at games for this purpose. No one buys them because they are $5. Yes, at Nebraska, we wear red, we eat runzas, we applaud the opponent, yadda yadda yadda. I really don't see anything wrong with this idea that he came up with. It doesn't take anything away from current traditions.

Thanks. Plus I'm not looking to start/change/replace any tradition. I don't think this would be an every-game occurence. If it did become tradition so be it. It would just serve as a little (much-needed) morale booster.
