*** Official Fordham Game Thread ***

Is it wrong to be more impressed with Fordham’s offense and play calling than ours? I’m still in the first half.

Nebraska adjusted quite nicely. Both sides of the ball made some adjustments after getting outcoached and saved by talent

We had an eight-minute advantage in TOP before the 4th quarter started.

This is what Nebraska needs to strive for:

  • Run the ball well - multiple ways
  • Win the Time of Possession game
  • Be positive in the Turnover Margin
  • Always play a field position game

Keep in mind, not only is Fordham a small college in the Bronx, but they play in a stadium with a capacity of 7,000! Not exactly football royalty. There has been tons of mistakes made today that even a mediocre team would have taken advantage of. That said, maybe this will begin a winning streak and the Huskers will whip Oklahoma!

Blocker almost touched the ball on the punt return again, I'm sorry but that's not even coaching that's simply not learning from your mistakes. At this point I'm wondering what is a coach to even do recruit smarter players?

Coach can and should work on that and other scenarios in practice. Yeah you want smarter players, but sometimes you need to take your players to school.
