Les Miles press conference

Anyone catch what Miles said in his press conference. He talked about how he can coach better and needs to do a better job. Made me sad having to listen to Cally's coach speak. BC talks about all the "positives" you can take from the sh**ty win/horrible loss.

Off topic/sorta: The one person I feel sorry for on this team is Keller. He tries his a$$ off, has no protection, then goes out there and blames himself for the loss. Class act that doesn't deserve this bs.

The real tragedy is that Keller is in jeopardy of not even getting drafted. His stock would have been higher to play second fiddle at Arizona State than to come here.

Anyone betting on next week's press conference? When do we get to hear the zinger, "I have the dumbest team in America". You know it's just a matter of time before Blazin Billy starts telling everyone how it's the team's fault!

If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, looks like a duck, and sh#ts like a duck; it's probably a duck. Hasn't Blazin Billy been here before? What a loser!

I for one am getting awfully tired of Callahan saying that the team needs to calm down. sh#t if I didn't know better I'd say the pulse count on the field doesn't top 50 for Nebraska. This team is dead in the water

Les Miles was a guy I thought should've been considered to repalce Frank. He was still at OSU and beat us in 2002 for the first time in 35 years.

I agree completely about Callahan. He NEVER says anything of substance.

I also feel bad for Sam Keller. He has been the one bright spot this season and I really hope he is drafted and has a nice career in the NFL. He deserves it.

There are always the combines, thats where the true players stand out. *cough* Troy Smith *cough*

Sorry for going off topic. Not trying to start a flame war.

Remember that OU was after Keller hard and heavy. Wonder if he regrets that decision??

Honestly i'd think he'd be crazy not to, i mean he's a guy who wants to win and wills this team to win games(see ball state). And honestly would you think that OU would be undefeated had he gone there?

Yeah...I was really hoping this week's debacle would break BC's cool shell and he'd call someone dumb or a hillbilly...from the looks of things, he should have plenty of chances to lose it in the future...

As far as Keller goes, I don't think there's any risk in him not being drafted, scouts take into consideration when good players are on bad teams...maybe his stock suffers *slightly* but he's still had some huge passing performances, and since he was on everyone's radar to begin with, it's not like Nebraska has to be undefeated for him to get recognized...all that said, I do feel bad for him

Les Miles choked away mucho wins at OSU, especially against UT.

Yes, I agree. Les isn't in the league of coaches that we can get IF WE TRY. Granted, TO needs to be the AD for that to happen. NOBODY will come to Lincoln with Peterson as the AD.

I guess I dont know enough about Pederson's history, but from what I do know, it seems like he would be great to coach under.

He puts no pressure on the HC, allows him to manage the rest of the coaching staff however he likes, and is generous with contract extensions.

The bad thing about him is he's done all of the above with a bad coaching staff, but if we had a great coaching staff, Pederson's style seems ideal. So with all his generosity, and with the tradition of Nebraska, why can he not attract a top coach?
