What is odd is that it's a random Thursday.  Nothing special about the day, that I can think of.

If it were something to honor TO, I would think it would be this Saturday.

My guess is it's an announcement for an announcement. Guessing they announce they'll be wearing that symbol on a patch for a TO appreciation game later this season. Something like that.
