And, this is why your 2021 Husker football team is so dang frustrating.
We've also racked up a good amount of yardage against everyone else...We racked up a lot of yardage against fluff teams (Northwestern, Buffalo, and Fordham).

Fordham and Northwestern are the only teams we scored a huge amount on. And....other teams have played easy games too.We racked up a lot of scoring and yardage and 1st downs against fluff teams (Northwestern, Buffalo, and Fordham).

We are talking about how our stats compare to others that also have played some easy games. We're talking about OUR stats, which were inflated by playing two high schools and one crap B1G team. Yes we go down field almost routinely. Then we camp out in the red zone at critical times and miss kicks or fail on 4th down instead of scoring.
So here's a question for you ...Yes, this is one of many things a new coach may need to work on.Ok, regardless of record, I think there is still a good chance Frost is here next year based on Trev's comments about the # of games won. BUT if there is a new coach, there are some very fundamental, foundational things that need to be worked on and these are things that should not be an issue in year 4 as many have stated.
They have a history of it correct so they get the benefit of the doubt. They have earned that. We have currently earned .500 or losing records to every team in the B1G West over the last 3+ years and that stat cant change regardless of outcomes the rest of season. So here's a question for you ...
This data is sacks allowed. Iowa is #13. Would you say they have a foundational issue that's caused this?
I mean, they are pretty well known for putting offensive linemen in the NFL, right?
