Gauging the excitement level

With the basketball season getting started in less than a month, where are you at on a scale of 1 to 10 for your excitement for the season?  I'm at a 10.  :koolaid2: This new upgrade in talent across the board along with some added depth has me really looking forward to the season!

 
Hoiberg is not afraid to shake things up if needed.  Major upgrade in talent across the board in the top 10.  Depth will be much better.  Looking for NIT minimum - NCAA not out of the question!  Expectations are HIGH

 
Excited!!!

Im going to be surprised if we don’t make the NCAA tourney this year. 
 

I know the first two seasons with Fred haven’t had a lot of wins. This year will be very different and we will do much better than the experts are projecting. 

 
I’ll say 9. I’m pretty cautiously optimistic about this season being a fun one to follow. I don’t want to attach a win total or expectations or anything like that. Just want to win some games and enjoy the team and hope they get better as the season goes on

Boy I couldn't tell you I haven't even looked I usually go to Vegas insider.com for things like that. However I doubt Nebraska basketball is all a sudden going to get the national respect that we fans know we deserve. And that's fine by me you don't get an opportunity to take Vegas too often oh, I'm not saying it's a sure thing but I guarantee you they're not thinking that we I have it all figured out and they're sure not thinking we're going to get a win in this tournament.

 
I say it every year but this year I hope we can make a fair share of "threes" and stretch the defenses. I feel like we have the talent this year to compete most nights. It depends how soon they jell as a team and whether they can get the rebounds. We have some height but not necessarily the bulk inside. Plus be better on free throws to get those extra 8 to 10 points a night. 

 
6. Going to be cautious for awhile, until they gel, and we see if B. McGowans can get over the freshman wall in February

That might ramp up to a 9 if they beat Creighton, though. 

 
8 - I think they'll be good, but the B1G is pretty loaded, so I'm not expecting them to finish top 3 or 4. Maybe 6th. I do expect some nice wins in the non-conference

I would say I'm about a 9.  Think this could be a real fun season for this team.
