Callahan stays as offensive line coach?

Why not keep Callahan around as offensive line coach? Let's say that Pelini or whoever was the head coach and they got run over by a mack truck. Kind of like the Mrs. America deal, the runner-up (offensive line coach) could just step in and bat for the head guy for a game or two. He's got 3.5 years of college HC experience so why not?

Ummm...because that is a lot to stomach for anyone--being an OC and HC in the NFL and now just an O-line coach in College? I doubt Callahan would want to do that.

It's okay to attack the post right, just not the poster? Who in their right friggin mind after watching our running attack rank at a stellar #109 in the country would want to hire the idiot that's HC as offensive line coach. Our OL has been a liability at best since BC's been here. He's a complete tool. Btw, did I mention he's inept?

Never. Offensive line coach? No way. Perhaps he'd agree to it if Fred Petio came on. :sarcasm Dear Lord...

Imagine if your boss was asked to step down and now told he had to start working under the new boss how would he take it?
