Also, I am receiving a fax later today which confirms that last FRIDAY they were already replacing PUD.

Not to say I dont believe you cause man I hope this is true,but isnt there a process which to follow in talking to other teams coachs? I mean LSU is in the middle of a season and for Bo to be in Lincoln a day after Pud gets fired is a little far out there to think of.. I guess I just question how this all happened soo quick, and not so much if your making it up.

I never said Bo was in Lincoln. I said here is their main focus right now. And the process to talk to a coach is to Call Les Miles or Bo directly and ask them permission. This is college and there are no rules to talking to a coach like the NFL.

There may be a process to solicit another teams coaching staff, however Pelini can talk to anyone he wants at anytime unless otherwise stated in his contract. Teams usually don't have big issues with assistants and coordinators talking to other teams, it is their HC that they usually don't like having solicited. Pelini has made it clear he plans to look for a HCing job after this season, so I don't think LSU has any delusions about keeping him.

From what I've read on Pelini, he's in the Saban mold of having a dominant D with a ball-control offense. Are we going back to the option? NO, so let's let that dream go already. I'd just love to have a good running game that can move the chains and put points on the board and give our kick-a$$ D a break. This is the kind of thing Pelini believes in.
