These transition attempts are killing us. They play NBA level fast out on the break.

We came out with the right energy and then shot some silly 3 pt attempts and the energy hasn’t been there since.

 
JFC - Nebraska looks ridiculous.  The route is on.  Again. 
 

An early 13-0 run; now a 9-0 run.

Verge has been everything he's shown in the past(a shoot first point guard), which is a complete opposite of what he showed in the exhibitions.

Why did his 5 years at ISU look so different? Are we that hard to recruit to? I mean our roster is littered with 4 and 5 star players.

Different time, different players, different league, etc. NU needs to do a better job of player eval and recruiting specific player types. We get worked by teams with size. It’s been that way for a while. And we have a ton of one on one type players- who’s the point guard on this team? Who’s the leader? Who’s the distributor?

I’d play Webster and bench Verge. No doubt Verge is the more talented and skilled player- he’s atrocious at getting people involved and generating any offensive flow. Fred’s got no doghouse and those that wind up there don’t really make sense to me (see Andre, Eduardo)
