I guess I don't recall any rumors of him transferring.  There were questions about whether he would play another season but once he announced that it seemed like it would be at Nebraska.

I think the Honas news may be a surprise to most everyone but it was almost expected. 6th year senior with two bad ACLs probably wont get much playing time with two all conference caliber inside backers ahead of him. Sad to see him go but wish him luck at his next stop. My guess is either KU, KSU or Texas Tech (had a brother play there).

Seems a touch strange with OU already having Gabriel in the fold who has up to 3 years of eligibility left but hey, this seems to be the way these things go nowadays.
