I couldn't judge the two personally when we got them. Toure got developed and used far better, both prior to Nebraska and then after. That saddest part of it all is what the team could have looked like with both of them. It still makes me chuckle how many folks on this board concluded that Wandale just wasn't "that elite". The reality was he was a very nice piece that never got utilized well. And, the fact is, that even if he was utilized well, between the line and the QB, he probably wasn't going to be as "showy" of a piece as he could have been out of our own lack to coach.Unpopular opinion here, but I liked Samori Toure way more than Wandale since Day 1. He's a real WR and not a bulldog slot guy.
In terms of being the better pro, I'd draft Toure ahead of Wandale all day long. I think Wandale could have been a great college player but never really saw him as a pro prospect in the same way.
