Gomes performance didn't help, but the huskers had multiple opportunities to blow these guys out in the earlier innings.  offensive woes continue.

He regained some confidence after the two doubles all the other hits were weak contact, and that's baseball. They wanted to give him a confidence booster early just didn't work out.
