Just the previews look amazing.  I have not gone to the theater in years but I might actually see this in a theater.

If Val is in only it it for like 10 minutes I will be a bit sad.  I would also love to see Rick Rossovich (Slider) in it but I am guessing he is not.

Didn't Val Kilmer have a ton of health issues the past few years? Like throat cancer or something?

Maybe he wasn't well enough to play a huge role.  :dunno

 
I was lucky enough to catch it in one of those oversized Dolby theater type places and I was really glad I did.  The movie is just big, stupid summer fun.  It's exactly what you think it is and does a great job with some nostalgia from the original.  It's a classic summer movie blockbuster.  Couldn't recommend it more.

 
I don't think I have heard a negative thing about it.

I still think they go with a Top Gun 3 eventually with Mav passing the torch
