USC and UCLA to the B1G

Hahaha!

I think is also has to do with how little people think of Zona sports.

ASU has marketed their football games wrong FOR YEARS!  They should have said "We get it, you are drunk and have been watching games all day...how about one more...beer and game" but they didn't.  EMBRACE IT!!!!

It's actually even simpler than that.  Their tagline simply needs to be, "Hey, have you actually walked around our campus?  Yeah, we thought so too.  That smokebomb from your intro to World History class will be there and so will 10 of her friends.  Game starts at 7 and we'll see you there."

So true!

Non-zona girls that go there for college must hate it...like a hot girl from another state that goes to college there is in for a rude awakening when they see that a zona 8 is like a 10 everywhere else in the USA.

Yep, 100%.  I always quote Mike'l Severe and Spencer Hall anytime the topic of college visits come up.  They both always say, "CONSIDER  Arizona State"

Haha yep, a very pretty high school GF of mine went there for a quick year.  She transferred back to Kansas.

Stanford brings no extra monetary value to the B1G.
Remember that this a decision by the university presidents, not the athletic directors. Stanford brings in a TON of grant and research money (something like $2 billion a year), which could end up bringing in more money for the Big Ten Academic Alliance (formerly the CIC) than the any other school brings in athletically (or not - I'm not sure of the value to the other schools in the BTAA), and Stanford is more prestigious academically than any of the B10 schools (despite what Michigan and few other schools might think).
