Kicked at FNL last night.  Was 11-12 on FGs (indoors) with a long of 61.  Said he's kicked longer previously.  On kickoffs, he put one nine yards deep.  Also punted outside.  Also kicked for the staff earlier this month.

Mainly a soccer player until the past two years. 

Kansas State, Indiana plus some FCS schools are also interested.  

 
I know we have two pretty good kickers for three years, if we keep them, but I’d spend a scholarship to get a darn good Neb kid to join the team.  Injuries and car wrecks happen. That gives us three solids. Surely 2 turn out All conf caliber.  

 
There's always the chance that he just really wants to be a Husker.  But short of that, I don't see him committing to a walk-on offer this early.


 
And why pray tell would a young man not really want to be a Husker?    There are no good reasons frankly.   As a kicker, your odds of playing in many games are very high, even in the first couple years.  GBR!!!
