Nebraska – Caleb Tannor


Tannor had a career-high 33 tackles, with a career-high 5 1/2 tackles for loss and 2 sacks and 3 pass breakups last season and is looking to finish his career in Nebraska on a high.

 
Feeling a bit better about Tannor, but still not as high as the uproar from the local press.  We are 2 weeks into practice is all I'm saying.  And spring was mostly exercising and touch football.

 
Is there a sense among most of us that this year D will be better than last year’s because of a better pass rush? It appears we have a less experience but a very talented secondary and a very talented yet unproven DL, along with a decent LB core. So can Eric and assistances put it all together? Stay tune.

The D is communicating really well.  And very athletic. 

Chins D is bend don't break between the 20's. 

Keep them in front of you (coverage), put pressure on the QB and get stops.

Gum up the line, allow the LBs to make plays (running game)

Don't give up the big play.

Create turnovers.

Force FG attempts

I’m at the point of believing it could be. For a long time, all of us have been begging for a pass rush. We might actually have one this year.

I think there will be times where the lack of JoJo Domann's presence will be noticable. 

But I think the biggest factor that will hold the defense together is the strong leadership.  An improved pass rush certainly can't hurt.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the whole defense earns black shirts bc of how they played and not just some of the guys. That would really benefit the team as a whole bc least you could say everyone is doing their part on defense to make this team better.
